Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Global Brand Manager (maternity cover) for our office in Maidenhead, UK.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the brand growth agenda of Karo's biggest brand: Lamisil
  • Delivering the brand's business targets and performance expectations aligned with the global brand plans
  • Working as part of the global category team and in strong collaboration with the markets (who are responsible for execution), create and deliver a consumer and HCP driven brand growth plan, which will accelerate sales, share and brand equity
  • The role has a global remit, with a focus on designing for and winning in the critical markets
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Manager to build the global 1-3 year brand growth plan and drive the performance in line with this plan, in collaboration with the markets
  • Execute based on the global brand growth model
  • Lead the global data driven communication plan both to consumers and HCP
  • Oversee the global media strategy, learnings and optimisation at global level with main focus on key markets and own direct markets and have close contact with media agency, digital team and markets to secure best in class media plans are in place aligned with P2P
  • Oversee and secure the global brand search and media sufficiency by having close collaboration with teams and markets
  • Lead creation of global toolkits for consumers and HCP with support of Global HCP Marketing Lead and Content lead aligned with brand heart and to fit the needs based on media plans and P2P strategy
  • Lead cross functional internal and external team to create and deliver best in class brand assets and guidelines
  • Working in partnership with the Skin Squad content and performance managers, deliver a winning communications plan based on P2P prios and findings, covering always-on and campaign needs
  • Analyse global and local brand performance, identifying drivers (to double-down on,) drainers (to fix,) quickly driving corrective action. Share best practice across markets

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management and brand management of health & beauty products or FMCG at local level (UK, Germany mainly) and preferably at a regional / global level
  • Proven track record of successful brand building, and full commercial P&L (including pricing / COGS / A&P budgeting) management in competitive categories and ideally in the Skin/Foot Health category; growing sales, margin, share and equity
  • Detailed understanding of what it takes to win in eComm channels
  • Experience on a variety of brands & categories across markets, especially European markets (preferably in UK and Germany) as well as international experience outside Europe (preferably USA, Australia or Asia is a plus)
  • Ability to strongly contribute to brand planning - at a local and, ideally global level
  • Experience in developing and delivering to markets new growth-driving creative ideas and brand programmes, derived from powerful data driven insight
  • Leadership capability in the development and delivery of successful integrated digital campaigns, in collaboration with external agencies, as part of broader connections plans and based on performance tracking
  • Highly skilled in delivering brand performance and leading complex cross-functional initiatives with successful outcomes, within a remote matrix organisation
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experience of marketing in regulated categories, ideally within consumer healthcare
