On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Geospatial Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 3 month (with possible extension) contract. This is a hybrid working role (two days per week office based - UK Wide).

As a Geospatial Analyst, your main responsibilities will be to:
* Provide geo-data acquisition, management, analysis and dissemination for geospatial outputs as required, in order to satisfy customer requirements and meeting business objectives.
* Manage data and maintain files, including preparing hard and soft copy plan production, to ensure that all data used is fit for purpose and conforms to standards.
* Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that best practice is achieved and the needs of the customer are met.
Essential:
* Proven experience of using GIS based technologies to provide innovative business solutions
* Proven ability to work with senior industry stakeholders to understand their requirements
* Expert in geospatial and relational database design, development or implementation
* Awareness of GI industry developments and how emerging GI technologies can be applied within Network Rail and the railway industry
