General Services Manager - London

£47,000 per annum (DOE)

Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm.

Occasional evening and weekend work due to events or meeting out of hours teams.

SIA license (non frontline) and financial check required for this role.

We are currently recruiting a General service Manager for our client based in London.

The General Services Manager is responsible for the daily planning and operation of the Cleaning, Security, Waste Management and Pest Control services for our client head office in London.

The key portfolio elements include but not limited to:

  • Manage the cleaning, security, pest control, washroom services, towel provision and waste management within the guidelines of the client and 14forty FM Support Services.
  • The General Services Manager to manage and train the above teams to deliver customer satisfaction and profitability, within all company policies, procedures and contract service level agreements.
  • To champion best practice across all departments within the site and act as the driver for change in pursuit of continuous improvement
  • To safely manage all daily activities and to work effectively and adhere to all company local procedures and instructions.

Who you are:

  • Experience managing a cleaning service in a corporate, office building, with high attention to detail and very exacting standard of cleaning.
  • Ability to provide recommendations and share expertise with client on a ad-hoc cleaning queries.
  • Experience in managing a 24/7 security service, with emphasis on concierge services.
  • The ability to understand and have experience balancing 5* customer service with the the safety and security of the site.
  • Experience of managing a large team of 30+
  • Experience preparing and resenting high quality presentations directly to the client property team
  • Financial experience managing services over £1 million to site.
