Role: General Manager
Location: West Hall, West Byfleet
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a General Manager to join our leadership team & oversee the daily operations, staff management, & strategic development of West Hall, West Byfleet ensuring customer satisfaction & commercial success go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Anchor West Hall, ensuring smooth and efficient running of all events and functions.
- Oversee and support the team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall business performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the hospitality, event, or venue management industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on staff development and motivation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and implement business growth opportunities.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reports.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Skills and Knowledge:
Operational knowledge of large multi-functional locations.
Strong customer service mindset.
Business planning, budget management, and sales and marketing understanding.
Familiarity with legislation related to care.
