The White Horse is A beautifully styled pub-restaurant with a cosy laid-back atmosphere, in the heart of Otterbourne which sits in between Southampton and Winchester. A pub well loved by the Community due to our family events, fantastic fresh cooked food and warm and welcoming service.
At the heart of our success lies our collaborative, supportive and positive team who come together to ensure our customers get the balance of warm traditional pub service whilst offering an elevated dining experience with our 1 Rosette cuisine.
How we define success for a General Manager:
- A highly motivated and happy team, we believe our customer feedback goes hand in hand with the happiness of our people, but it takes an art to create this with a flexible work force, visible, out in front leadership across different shifts makes it happen
- Feedback scores across multiple channels which show consistency in a raised level of service, and pro-active action towards addressing trends which tell us change in approach is needed
- Highly confident in understanding the numbers and reacting to changes in business levels to protect the financial outcomes
- Pro-active in seeking out opportunities which will raise our profile within the Community through events and partnerships, our regulars know you by name and have confidence that you will ensure the venue is run well
- Build a strong sense of collaboration with the other venues across the group and bring fresh and new ideas to the table others can learn from
If you have a proven track record for delivering our success framework and you have a background in Venue Management where customer is king, then we would love to hear from you.
