THE ROLE:As the HR Manager (12 month FTC Maternity Cover), you'll work closely with the CEO and SLT of one of our Business Units to align people strategies with business goals. Reporting into the Head of HR Business Partners, you'll be a trusted advisor, helping drive organisational effectiveness, foster a high-performing and inclusive culture, and support the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and data-informed environment. You must be able to work independently, but with the knowledge there is a supportive wider team in place.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Partnership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders within the assigned business unit, building a deep understanding of their objectives and challenges.
- Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and implement people strategies that support business goals.
- Support the implementation of the People Operating Model at a business unit level.
Talent Management & Development
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Learning teams to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Facilitate performance management processes, leadership development, and succession planning efforts.
- Coach managers on building high-performing teams and developing leadership capabilities.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Champion initiatives that promote an inclusive, engaging & high-performance culture
- Support leaders in navigating change, driving employment engagement and leading with empathy
- Equip managers with tools to foster inclusive leadership and handle sensitive employee relations issues
Operational HR Excellence
- Support implementation of core HR processes and policies within the business units (e.g. performance reviews, compensation cycles, promotions).
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal HR standards.
- Use data and insights to inform decisions, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Influence
- Work closely with HR departments (e.g., Talent, Rewards, HR Operations) to deliver consistent and scalable people solutions.
- Collaborate with other HRBPs to share best practices, drive consistency, and support cross functional initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to managers on a wide range of HR issues.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or CIPD
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, including at least 2 years in a business partnering or HR generalist role.
- Experience supporting fast-paced, creative, digital, or tech-driven environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

- Proficient in employment law, HR best practices, and core HR systems.

- Strong Conflict Management skills, navigating sensitive issues with discretion and fairness.
