Overview of Role

As part of our ongoing development plans across our entire FIC business we are aiming to firmly establish ourselves a s a top 10 FX house.

To help in achieving this we are looking to appoint a new FX eTrader who will concentrate on production but will also have the opportunity to shape the eTrading function as you see fit and make a real impact within the Bank.

This is a production role as part of the team but there will be opportunities to have direct responsibility on key initiatives, eg. specific currency pushes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop our profile and reputation among clients as a reliable market maker, managing the eFX trading book during London hours with responsibility for risk management and algo oversight
  • Enhance and build long term relationships with clients based on trust and performance - working with sales teams to understand client requirements so we can improve our offering
  • Ongoing analysis of trade, market and other data to propose and develop new models
  • Provide enhanced market making revenues
  • Create ideas for enhancements to our current and planned FX trading systems / processes

Profile required

Experience / Competencies Required

  • Proven FX eTrading background in delivering revenues while also having experience developing the function
  • Highly personable with ability to develop relationships with a wide range of people both internally and externally
  • Pro-active with strong problem-solving skills, desire for continuous development and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong analytical skills with aptitude for numbers and excellent attention to detail
