Fulfilment Manager - Secret Cinema: Grease

We are looking for a freelance fulfilment manager to join our creative apparel and merchandise team working on Secret Cinema's newest production of Grease. In this role you'll be a key team member working closely with the HOD and Buyer. We go above and beyond as a team and maintain the high standards and creativity that comes with working with one of the leading immersive production companies. We work across multiple offices as a team and alone so communication and initiative is vital.

End Date: 25th August
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and running our online fulfilment, managing the pick, pack and shipping of all online orders, ensuring that our daily targets are met and the product is shipped in perfect condition.
- Developing/maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management, and order fulfilment to meet operational goals.
- Tracking inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and/or deadstock. Ensuring Shopify website has accurate stock levels.
- Ensuring deliveries of stock are received, checked and pass our quality control.
- Ensuring that all customer returned stock is put back into free stock accurately and neatly.
- Responding to customer queries in a timely way, resolving customer complaints and maintaining customer records.
- Working closely with the show onsite team to ensure stock is in the optimum location and stock movement is recorded accurately.
- Managing part-time warehouse staff. Allocating work based on company requirements.
- Adhering to procedures relating to the proper use and care of company property, equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
- Housekeeping/General standards - You will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse set up is efficient and kept tidy and organised.
- Troubleshooting any technical issues with any systems within the department and overseeing escalation to tech or other departments in the business.
- Additional duties as required.
Key Skills & Experience
- Able to work well under pressure and prioritise workloads in a fast paced environment.
- Computer literate including experience with Gsuite.
- Highly self motivated to achieve accuracy and speed in your work.
- Able to work on your own as well as part of the team.
- An excellent communicator (writing, speaking and listening) to be able to communicate with others clearly, effectively and with respect.
- Dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers.
- Resourceful and goal-orientated.
- Proactive - to think ahead, using initiative and awareness and act accordingly
- Able to demonstrate good working methods including a well-organised work environment, attention to detail, reliability and good time management.
Desirable
- Aware of relevant regulatory, GDP, security, GDPR and H&S requirements. Additional training will be given.
- Experienced in leading a team and fulfilment operations.
