Freeport Training Partnership Director
To strategically lead the Celtic Freeport Training Partnership as the primary catalyst for skills development and training in South West Wales, focusing on Celtic Freeport and Energy Transition including Floating Offshore Wind (FLOW) activities. The role will serve as a key connector between South West Wales Colleges and industry, identifying skills needs, developing targeted training programmes, securing funding, and establishing the partnership as the central hub for workforce development in these emerging sectors.
Rate of pay: Circa £70,000 per annum.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).
Qualifications: The ideal candidate should hold a level 6 qualification (e.g. degree or equivalent) and a level 5 qualification in management. Experience of strategic leadership is essential as is experience of strategic development. Knowledge of hydrocarbons, renewables, low carbon industries, Freeport and FLOW initiatives is also essential.
