The Opportunity

The business is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a warehouse fit out project in North London. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership of site operations, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring smooth delivery of all works
• Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers on site
• Maintain and enforce H&S standards, including RAMS, inductions, and site audits
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and wider team to track progress and resolve issues
• Monitor programme, quality, and sequencing of works
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and material management
• Maintain site documentation, reports, and daily records
• Act as the main point of contact for client and stakeholder queries on site

Requirements

• Proven experience managing fit out or refurbishment projects - warehouse/industrial experience highly desirable
• Strong understanding of D&B delivery, sequencing, and subcontractor management
• Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid required
• Freelance / Ltd Co or CIS accepted

Contract Details

• 3-month contract, with potential extension depending on project progress and pipeline
• Competitive day rate, paid weekly
• North London site, full-time on-site role
