The Role:
Studio XAG is looking for Freelance Project Managers to help manage world-class production from our London headquarters and deliver the show-stopping storytelling we are famous for.
Reporting into our Head of Project Management you would be helping our world-class team in a challenging, exciting and creative environment. You will have the opportunity to work with great brands on interesting projects; bringing our work to life in our on-site workshop within a very short space of time.

Who exactly are we looking for?
We're looking for a confident, fast and highly organised Freelance Project Manager who has a hunger for facilitating the creation of inspiring industry-leading work and is available to work from our Studio in London.
Ideal Experience:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Seasoned industry player with varied client-facing experience
- Excellent understanding of production processes
- Strong IT skills - in particular Excel and Google sheets. Synergist is a plus
- Organisational master
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Leadership qualities and a hunger to deliver the best results
Skills & Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of multiple projects of different sizes
- Typically managing annual project budgets of approx £250,000 - £1,000,000
- Managing client relationships
- Main point of contact for your given project clients, managing expectations internally and externally throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Project planning, quoting, forecasting and reporting. Ensuring your projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Project workflow from concept design, through to fabrication and installation
- Managing external supplier relationships to outsource production as and when needed
- Confidence in quality control, ensuring clients' high standards of execution are met
- Planning and executing installations both in the UK and overseas
- Overseeing every detail of a project from finish to logistics - you will be the person who knows the answers, or where to find them
Location:
This is a studio based role, with some optional WFH days depending on project deliverables. Our normal working hours are 9am - 6pm but flexible working hours and days are available. Project Managers are expected to be on site for their projects and night shifts are a regular part of the job.
