FP&A Manager, Marketing

Bumble is looking for an FP&A Manager for Marketing, with a focus on accurate forecasting and reporting of marketing spend.
Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, you will be accountable for driving forward continual process improvements and embedding data decision making across the marketing organisation.
You will be based in London, reporting into the US-based Senior FP&A Manager and will be part of a global, talented team of Finance professionals.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure accuracy in budgeting, forecasting and reporting of marketing spend
- Work collaboratively with accounting and marketing teams to drive efficiency in month-end close processes
- Understand, explain and communicate spend variances to Head of FP&A in collaboration with the Senior FP&A Manager
- Work with the Senior FP&A Manager, to develop reporting that connects regional marketing spend with business objectives
- Responsible for managing and developing a Finance Analyst
- Develop a deep understanding of marketing plans and campaigns
- Act as a thought partner to the regional Marketing Directors to help drive efficient and effective investment decisions
- Support financial operations for the Marketing teams
- Be an expert on the tools we use to manage our financial processes. Provide troubleshooting support when needed
About you
- 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or accounting
- CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent certification
- You have a strong understanding of marketing financial best practices and marketing KPIs
- You have advanced Excel or Google Sheets experience with the ability to navigate, manipulate, and analyse large or complex data sets
- You're a self-starter who will proactively set stretch goals, is organised and can problem solve in a complex environment
- You have the ability to take ownership of an issue and see it through resolution
- You're change-oriented, highly strategic, and proactive in thinking about the business and bringing new solutions to the table
- You're detail-oriented and accustomed to multitasking and prioritising multiple work streams and deadlines
- Experience with NetSuite, Concur, Looker and marketing-specific budget tracking systems is a plus
- You work well in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment
- Experience working for a global technology company is preferred
