Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 185 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings as well

Over the last few years, the Hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms, restaurant, residents lounge, sports bar and all public areas with further plans to redevelop and expand throughout 2024 and 2025 increasing the number of Bedrooms self-contained Golf facilities, as well an opulent new Spa with state-of-the-art facilities.

Main duties and purpose of the role:

To support the Food and Beverage outlets including our 80 cover Elements with its round central bar serving rosette level food, Chartwell our 3 Rosette fine dining restaurant and Squadron Bar our Hotel residents lounge. Elements Restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chartwell is open currently 4 days a week for dinner and afternoon tea. Squadron Bar is open for residents and none residents 7 days a week serving a selection of drinks and light meals. There will also be the expectation that the Food and Beverage Duty Managers support the team during events, Conferences and our sports bar Bunkers

• Supporting the Food and Beverage Management team is any outlet they require
• The ability to manage, motivate & delegate tasks to your team.
• To carry duty management shifts in the Estate.
• To support other Food and Beverage outlets when required.
• Train and develop team in the Food and Beverage Outlets
• Work to the department standards of service
• To ensure the team can manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure target KPIs including guest spend and guest satisfaction scores are met.
• To ensure all relevant legislation, compliance and procedures in employment law, health and safety, food safety, liquor licencing is followed by all the team at all times.
• Support the departmental induction of new starters and ensure they are fully competent in the role.
• Support any training plan that's are implemented based on guests' feedback, personal and colleagues' observation.
• Ensure consumable, food, liquor is maintained at a level suitable for the business.
• Control all costs through payroll and stock control.
• To assist the management team in monitoring Liquor stocks and ensure orders are places in a timely manner.
