The role of the FM BTO (Bid-Transition-Operate) is to ensure that the business strategy is translated into operational excellence for Enterprise Accounts. The FM BTO position is a dynamic role that spans the full lifecycle of facilities management and multi-disciplined Enterprise Accounts. The role will be instrumental in developing client bid solutions, managing the transition in (including due diligence) and out processes, and provide guidance and oversight of operational excellence for the delivery of operations of Enterprise Accounts operating in EMEA.

This role requires the selected candidate to work on a hybrid basis from the CBRE location and very flexible to travel across EMEA as needed. Site visit can occur anywhere, and flexibility is key.

The candidate will be expected to work on multiple transitions and provide short to midterm pre, and post go live, onsite support.

The candidate will have experience in FM operations and transitions. They will focus on the asset management (equipment assets), critical systems and soft service delivery aspects of the whole FM solution. Due diligence and set up of the people, process are key activities to co-ordinate and deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic FM operations

  • Lead the strategy for due diligence. This includes collection, validation and analysis of the information, who collects and keeps the data up to date on the account within the CMMS.
  • Works with the sales, solution, and account team to turn the due diligence and service data into a workable solution.
  • Manages the facilities management transition programme to ensure timely hand-off to the account team and assists with stabilisation.
  • Identify best practices, knowledge sharing and drive corporate standardization.

Mobilisation delivery

  • Acts as a focal co-ordination point for local teams in both due diligence, solution and transition.
  • Ensures all transition commitments are met and delivered in the agreed timeframe.
  • Assures contract obligations are met and transition deliverables are satisfied using the CBRE best practices, tools, and processes.
  • Supports regular status reporting including status against performance indicators. Can apply technology including CMMS, Tableau, and other tools in the CBRE Technology Stack.
  • Contributes to the FM organisation model, focusing on technical delivery hires, supply chain and team structure.

Person Specification

  • Transition/mobilisation experience
  • Excellent leadership skills to hold matrix teams to account and own delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues to stakeholders.
  • Excellent understanding of FM operating models, technology and commercial models for enterprise accounts.
  • Management of Risks associated with operating and maintaining critical systems in buildings would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of soft FM delivery models in Enterprise contracts
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management
  • Experience with soft Services and hard services delivery.
  • Experience working in a global organisation with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different regions and cultures.
