DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Flow Room FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements at Swindon M&S. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To manage a team of Flow Room Controllers ensuring the shift runs successfully and on time
• Monitoring SCADA and CCTV to maintain the smooth and efficient flow of the automation
• Escalating issues and engaging with stakeholders to resolve them whilst minimizing operational impact
• To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
• Ensuring correct schedules are recorded and allocation of resources meet these requirements- automation vs manual staging

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment (Essential)
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
• Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports

A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received.
