Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off - 0500 - 1700
Location: Walsall (WS2 7PT)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a First Line Manager - Transport to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Responsible for a team of 25 Drivers plus agency
• Safely and Effectively run the transport operation, managing rota's, driver allocation and incident management
• Data entry to keep accurate and up to date records
• Up to date compliance of drivers and fleet

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience as a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
• Compliance knowledge
