Position: First Line Manager (Single Operations Centre)
Location: Gatwick Airport
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, Rotational, 2 days & 2 Nights (0400-1600 / 1600-0400)

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

• Managing the flow of aircraft and passengers in and out of Gatwick airport, working closely with the easyJet team based in Integrated Control Centre.
• Being a Single Operations Centre First Line Manager this role also comes with line management responsibilities and the requirement to practice DHL HR practices on a daily basis where required. Line management of TOBT and messengers.
• Your primary function will be the oversight and setup of the days flying schedule in close partnership with the stand planners to deliver a flawless stand plan for live aircraft whilst overseeing the planned towing programme that must be achievable and safe.
• Feeding information to Integrated Control Centre along with 3rd parties in regards to last minute tail changes will also be pivotal in the delivery of a successful shift. Being able to work under pressure is key as requests can come from all angles in this role, to remain calm and professional when under pressure is imperative representing us from a communications position you are not only representing DHL but easyJet too.
• Management of answering any safety incidents raised through safety net will also be required in this role to assist with the continuous improvement of safety in our operation.

• Previous onsite Operations experience
• Familiar with all Company and Airline Ground Handling Manuals advantegous
