DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced First Line Manager to play a vital role in managing the warehouse operations' day-to-day activities.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team and wider DHL colleagues
• Delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in line with business and contractual requirements
• Ensure communications to and from both internal and external customers are robust and timely allowing for a high level of service turnaround
• Deliver team member performance reviews (one-to-one sessions), development and succession planning as appropriate
• Ensure safety, compliance and fairness are at the front of all we do by utilizing the DHL tools available, such as - HSMS, First Choice, OMS etc

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations experience is essential
• Experience in people management within a unionised environment is desirable
• IT literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communicator - verbal and written
• Excellent organisational skills
