Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off - 6am-6pm
Location: Runcorn - WA7 3BN

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To manage the performance of an allocated warehouse department
• To assist in actively managing the Client relationship in line with the site strategy
• Accountable for the Health & Safety practices on site, assisting in delivering the Health & Safety strategy
• Ensure the warehouse performance consistently meets the requirement of the client
• Briefing of the team before start of shift, discussing the previous shifts performance and allocating tasks to be carried out within the next 12hrs

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader required
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
