What does the role involve?:
As Innserve continues to deliver against their ambitious strategy, the need has arisen to strengthen and re-structure the finance function through the appointment of a transactional finance manager.
You will take on the day-to-day leadership of the transactional finance team, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable and the associated processes. The role will seek to identify process efficiencies, whilst tightening the control environment.
There is the opportunity to put your own stamp on the team and implement your own routine and processes, to deliver the required reporting and output to the business. This role suits an experienced financial transactions expert, who will be able to bring their expertise to drive improvements and innovation.
You'll already have:
• Experience of leading key financial processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Management experience with the capability of leading and developing teams.
• Strong inter-personal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively to a wide group of internal and external stakeholders.
• Clear drive and ambition, necessary to influence a shift in the culture of the team.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Strong IT and data manipulation skills
Plus, ideally:
• Experience of re-shaping processes to drive efficiency and add wider business value.
• Not essential, but a good working knowledge of a high value, high churn asset base would be beneficial
• Not essential, but experience of a similar technical services or facility services industry would be beneficial.
