Financial Reporting Manager

  • Consolidating the financial plans for the Project. This includes production of Construction Plan and Budget (CP&B), and a Half Year reforecast. Primarily forward looking you will review planning, budgeting, and forecasting information focusing on challenging assumptions and decisions, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Co-ordinating and consolidating the quarterly Ofgem RIGs performance porting and annual Allowed Revenue forecast. Annual Regulatory Accounts reconciling between the RAB and IFRS books.
  • You'll be accountable for the impairment modelling process, co-ordination with the FP&A team to undertake the analysis. This involves understanding the CP&B output alongside long-term Project Management Baseline forecasts and RAB rules, to generate a valuation that you will then need to be able to articulate to senior stakeholders including the Board.
  • The role holder needs good business awareness to provide insight, sense checking and interpretation of the data. They need to predict stakeholder questions, areas of interest and requirements, ensuring that the commentaries are supported by analysis (from the business teams) to underpin what is presented, and that the story and messages are consistent throughout. You'll have the ability to learn and apply industry knowledge (ENERGY).

This role is a 6 month temp to perm contract to come in and take charge of their internal reporting structures. The role requires an ACA/ACCA qualification and ideally experience within audit/ industry (energy).
