We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within our dynamic finance department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Accounts Preparation: Lead the monthly management accounts preparation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Private Equity Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to private equity shareholders, offering insights into the company's financial performance and strategic direction.
  • Statutory Accounts Leadership: Oversee the preparation and consolidation of statutory accounts across five legal entities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Coordinate the annual audit process, including audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical accounting guidance and leadership to your team, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of financial reporting.
  • Accurate Accounting Records: Ensure all accounting records are maintained accurately and reflect all transactions correctly.
  • Tax and Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance across all entities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns in collaboration with third-party providers.
  • Treasury Compliance - Ensure on a quarterly basisthe quarterly reporting pack to our banking providers is submitted to ensure covenant compliance.
  • Credit Re-bill Support: Lead a business analyst responsible for financial corrections to billing systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the financial reporting function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including legal, tax, and operations, to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Team Management: Manage, coach, and develop a team of analysts and management accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • ACA Qualified: Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in audit, preferably within a Big 4 firm, though not essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience in preparing statutory accounts and management reports.
  • Systems Expertise: Familiarity with Salesforce, Netsuite, or other accounting packages preferred but not essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, providing technical guidance and support.
  • SAAS Experience (Preferred): Experience within the SaaS industry is preferred, though not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and strong Excel skills are mandatory.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward.
  • AI Experience: Experience with Co-Pilot, Chat-GPT, or other AI platforms preferred but not essential.
