Role:This is a key role, within the UK Financial Reporting team. Reporting to the UK Head of Financial Reporting, the Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for:

Key responsibilities:

• Monthly financial reporting for legal entities across UK, Europe and Asia including World First and Alipay
• Month end review analysis and commentary for all legal entities
• Key role in managing the year end Statutory Accounts and managing the audit cycle
• Preparation of Quarterly Board Reports
• Supporting the submission of Regulatory reporting
• Managing a Qualified Financial Reporting Accountant
• Support the implementation of new accounting policies and standards
• Identification of automation and process improvement initiatives
• Assisting with projects and related activities when required

What we're looking for:

• ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Adaptable to changing systems and processes
• Well organised and can work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills
• Passionate about ensuring that work is completed to a high-quality standard
• Demonstrate the desire to challenge processes and make changes.
• Experience of working with Oracle / HFM accounting system preferred
• Proficient in excel
• understanding of payments and FX is preferred
• An ability to work closely with people from difference areas and across different time zones and cultures (key stakeholders based overseas)
• Language - a candidate with English and Mandarin would be preferred
