We are now looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team and be part of our ambition, to continue to deliver the excellence our clients deserve.

The OpportunityThe Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, in partnership with the CFO, will play a key role in driving enhanced financial performance. By collaborating with various stakeholders, you will identify and achieve strategic and commercial objectives. This will be accomplished through detailed financial planning and insightful analysis.

Requirements

What You Will Bring To CHR

  • Qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in FP&A or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and Excel.
  • Proven track record of improving financial performance and planning and reporting processes.
  • Proven ability in creating and presenting business presentations, reports, and general communication packs.
  • Desire to build trusted partnerships with Senior members of the team to achieve commercial and strategic goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Lastly, and most importantly, someone who sees the value in the journey, with a strong desire to grow and learn, adding significant value in the organisation along the path.

What You Will be Doing

  • Drive analysis and MI to support the business make key decisions, this includes detailed financial modelling, preparing business cases and board reports.
  • Work with stakeholders to internally build reports which provides information to better understand strategic and commercial objectives, trends and insights which empowers them to grow the business.
  • Identify business trends and conduct further analysis to improve the understanding of factors behind the changes/trends occurring, providing insights, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Prepare the production of annual plans and quarterly re-forecasts to support the businesses growth.
  • Work across the finance team and cross functionally to embed best practice and sound commercial behaviours in all parts of the business.
  • Regular reporting to CFO on business performance, working with different business functions to drive standardisation and leverage opportunities for improvement.
  • Driven by a detailed knowledge and understanding of the business plan and operations, deliver routine reporting and insightful analysis on business performance against the 3-5-year business plan, budget and routine forecasts evaluating variances from plan, risks and opportunities and recommending appropriate action.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic budgets.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership to understand their needs and provide value-added financial support, becoming a trusted business partner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives across the wider business, there is a need to improve and embed best practice commercial acumen in the organisation.

Compensation & BenefitsCHR's head office is in Shoreditch, London and provides the opportunity to work within our hybrid working model. Due to the customer-facing nature of this role, we anticipate 2-3 days per week on-site in our London office.
