We have an exciting new opportunity for an FP&A Manager to join our busy Finance Team to focus on financial planning, analysis, and strategy to support the company's growth objectives. The FP&A Manager will provide data-driven insights, drive the budgeting process, and support the leadership team(s) in making informed financial decisions.

What you will be doing;

  • Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
  • Analysing financial data and performance, identifying and tracking trends, risks and opportunities
  • Attending Senior/Operational Leadership Team meetings as required/in tandem with Financial Controller
  • Preparing and presenting financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and scenario planning to Senior/Operational Leadership Team
  • Collaborating with department heads to understand their financial needs and provide actionable insights
  • Working alongside operational teams to actively manage Inventory & WIP, ensuring the efficient use of cash resources
  • Developing financial models to support business planning and decision-making
  • Overseeing development and monitoring financial performance metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Partnering with the Financial Controller to ensure that financial forecasts are aligned with operational realities
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial planning and reporting processes
  • Supporting the Finance Director and Senior Leadership team with strategic financial advice

We are looking for candidates who have;

  • Professional Qualification from a recognised accounting qualification from institutes like ICAEW, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Significant experience in financial planning and analysis (within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment is preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Proven ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights to senior management
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (such as PowerBI) is essential
  • Prior experience supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis
  • Experience with SQL or VBA is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into business insight.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial modelling tools
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing decision-makers
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
