We are looking for a Financial Due Diligence Manager to join us in our mission and scrutinise the financial due diligence and identify risks and issues in the veterinary clinics acquisition process.

The successful applicant will be contributing to the company's group strategy. Acquire, Build and Create. Ensuring high-quality surgery groups are acquired at appropriate multiples with a full understanding of all financial matters from the financial due diligence process.

Day to day, the Financial Due Diligence Manager will be involved in:

* The management of the outsourced Financial Due Diligence (FDD) providers, to ensure

FDD is completed in line with IVC processes.

* Reviewing FDD submission from external providers, to identify errors and additional risks and issues.

* Ensuring that the FDD has been completed by the external providers in line with IVC guidelines.

* Ensuring a quick turnaround of FDD.

* Preparing, reviewing and challenging the post-acquisition trading performance.

* Reviewing or drafting the board paper, to ensure that all FDD metrics, multiples, risks and issues have been accurately documented.

* Ensure all financial, tax and legal matters identified during DD are documented on the board paper.

* Working closely with the Group Head of Acquisition Finance and Group Senior Finance

* Manage - Acquisitions to address any points raised during their acquisition FDD approval.

* Ensuring data collected during diligence are transferred across into our systems post completion.

Ideally, the Financial Due Diligence Manager will have:

* A degree and hold a professional accounting qualification. ACA or equivalent qualification.

* Must have worked in a Top 20 (or equivalent) accounting firm in Transaction Services (or wider Corporate Finance experience) and have significant end to end deal experience/managing a process.

* Experience working in fast paced environment to tight deadlines.

* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

* Pro-active approach to CPD and keeping abreast of any changes to accounting standards.

Desirable:

*Experience with Power BI

*Experience with financial modelling
