Financial Director

My client is seeking a commercially focused Financial Director to support and drive the ongoing growth of a highly successful business with a great product.

Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership you will focus on developing growth, maximising profit and driving the strategic direction of the business.

Key accountability's and directives include:

Development of Short and long term financial planning to maximise opportunities and minimise financial risk

Running and development of the Annual Budgeting process

Supporting long and short term financial strategy

Investment apprasial

Management and development of the Finance team

Managing the relationships of external bodies with support of the Financial Controller

Supporting the sales, purchasing and marketing teams with pricing and commercial initiatives

Oversight of Cash management including working capital.

Development of Financial reporting and processes with support of the Financial Controller

This exciting opportunity requires a hands on Financial Director with previous exposure within a high growth and highly ambitious business

Previous experience to M&A activity would be desirable as would be exposure to FMCG or retail sectors.

The ideal candidate will have hands on exposure within a small to medium sized business and also a larger corporate set up.
