Financial Control Analyst-P2P Analyst
Salary -Salary is from £33,040 + annual bonus & benefits

Location -Edinburgh, Permanent
Office Attendance- Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to travel to our Edinburgh office, 2 days per week for this position.

We're looking for a Financial Control Analyst - P2P Analyst to join our Insurance and Money Services team. This role will provide the opportunity to be a part of a new Financial Control team with the remit of providing assurance and analysis across the entirety of the IMS cost ledger and related Balance Sheet. This role will be key in delivering an efficient and controlled Procure to Pay (P2P) process to ensure supplier payments are made within contracted timescales.
To do this, you'll provide subject matter expertise and constructive challenge to drive best practice across the business for P2P. You'll forge strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders. In addition, you will also have exposure to other Costs and Treasury processes as we develop our future ways of working, making this a great development opportunity. Please note, internally this role is known as FC Product Analyst.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the procure to pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning and resolving stakeholder queries.
- Working with the business to ensure processes are followed and costs are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
- Reviewing key metrics and information and performing root cause analysis when required.
- Working as part of a team to support Financial Control colleagues with other IMS activities including Accounts Receivable, Intercompany and Treasury processes as required.
- Maintaining the control environment, ensuring risks are identified and appropriate controls are operating effectively.
We need you to have (min exp)
- Understanding of financial processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised and detail orientated.
- Ability to build relationships across a Finance function.
And if you have any of these, even better
- Financial Services experience.
- P2P experience.
- Oracle iProcurement experience.
