Job Title: Finance Trainee
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £24,000 Fixed term contract for 2 years
What you’ll be doing:
- Studying towards your CIMA qualification whilst doing a variety of roles in the finance function
- You will develop into Chartered Management Accountants and gain a broad understanding of all aspects of finance and how these fit into the wider business organisation
- As part of the programme, you will complete the CIMA certificate in business accounting over the first 2 years
- The trainee programme has been designed to expose you to a variety of Finance roles across Cost base, Project accounting, financial planning and analysis, Cost estimating and pricing
- After successful in exams and placements an offer maybe made for an additional 3 years to study the CIMA qualification, which is equivalent to a master’s degree
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- 5 GCSEs A*-C or 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English
- 120 UCAS points gained from a maximum of 3 A-Level qualifications or equivalent (excludes AS level), preferably including Mathematics and/or a business related subject
- Balance both professional education and a full time role through excellent organisational skills and dedication to their development
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel and the ability to present data concisely
Assessment Centre to take place early March

The Electronics Systems Finance team:
Electronic Systems is located in Rochester, Kent employing around 1400 people and supports the development and manufacturing of Flight Controls, Display and Mission Systems, and Energy Management Systems.
