As a Project Manager within the Finance Project Team, you will be working closely with various teams across the business to understand, document and deliver requirements. You will partner with key business and technology partners to analyze business/operational processes, identify requirements, oversee technology build, manage user testing, and coordinate solution implementation. You will also be accountable for providing senior management with comprehensive project updates. This role provides an opportunity to be at the forefront of delivering new regulatory changes for the Bank.

Job Responsibilities

  • works independently as a Senior Business Analyst analysing regulatory requirements
  • performs detailed analysis of regulatory specification documents from competent regulators on applicable regulatory regime changes such as CRR3/BASEL 3.1
  • partners with BAU reporting and leadership, functional SMEs, and other key stakeholders in the design and implementation of the global operating model for operations (roles/responsibilities, location strategy, control framework)
  • manages UAT end-to-end in partnership with Corporate project team; this includes defining test strategy, managing junior BA's and general test management
  • day-to-day maintenance of project plans, metrics, risk/issues as well as development and occasional presentation of project status reports / updates to the organization and senior management
  • provides business and data analysis to large cross line of business initiatives; analysing and documenting key business discussions and requirements, managing timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies tracking action items and other project related materials

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • relevant experience in regulatory reporting in particular COREP/ Capital reporting
  • exposure and awareness of CRR3/ Basel 3.1 requirements, including reporting od own funds, credit risk, market risk, operational risk and leverage ratio.
  • good understanding of regulatory processes within an Investment Bank & the challenges in meeting regulatory reporting requirements
  • experience in operational, process or organizational design and related change management activities
  • strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail; capable of synthesizing and summarizing complex data or findings into business requirements.
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) and partner with key stakeholders to help advance projects
  • able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • axiom reporting platform experience
  • qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
  • finance or Risk experience a plus
  • EMEA focused Regulatory reporting experience
  • testing or QA expertise
