This is a key role within the Commercial Finance team for EE . You will be expected to take the lead from a finance perspective on driving growth as EE enter's into New markets , articulating drivers in an insight-driven manner to guide decision-making. You will be influencing and shaping commercial outcomes to ensure the business hits its financial performance targets. New Markets provide huge opportunity for growth for EE and it's critical that this person can build the Finance process and steer the ship from the bottom up.

What you'll be doing

• Finance interface into the Commercial New markets team , influencing the trading direction on performance

• Main point of contact on articulating commercial performance through drivers, along owner of "one source" on new markets performance

• Provide robust decision-support to the team, ensuring pricing and proposition proposals deliver value objectives

• Introduction and cross functional alignment on pricing framework and Investment frameworks on pricing.

• Identification, quantification and mitigation of risks that may arise as a result of both internal and external factors

• Ad hoc commercial analysis / impact assessment of price changes, market impacts and new propositions

• Ownership for development of robust performance tracking on new markets , Ensuring performance can be correctly measured and alignment into the P&L outcome.

• Ability to think "outside of the box" considering a wide angles of perspectives to identify clear commercial , cashflow and cost opportunities.

Skills and Experience

Skills

• Exceptional business partnering skills, ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships, with a proven ability to influence and coach and be prepared to challenge

• High level of commercial acumen, having the ability to quickly understand new ideas and how they impact the business financially, as well provider suggestions on how they might be improved

• Advanced data skills - ability partner cross functionally to automate value reporting and manage complex large data sets.

• Communication skills - translating complex financial outcomes to senior financial and nonfinancial stakeholders through both oral and written communication. Ability to tailor message to the relevant audience, distilling key messages without losing the appropriate level of detail

• Excellent knowledge of finance, covering a breadth of activities and best in class practices

Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

• Experience required of business casing, planning & forecasting and financial business partnering

• Knowledge of Fast moving goods industry is preferable but not essential
