What will you be doing?

We're recruiting a Finance Operations Manager - GL in our UK FinOps team. As a Finance Operations Manager you'll ensure planning, delivery, optimisation and acceleration of Month End Close process. You will also drive alignment and collaboration between FinOps, VOIS, FDS and other business departments in order to ensure MEC milestones are properly planned and executed as per Group deadlines. Working closely with all relevant local stakeholders and Group FinOps R2R team to ensure a clear path to accelerate, automate and remove blockers towards Group MEC targets for FY23, 24 and 25.

Key accountabilities include:

• Ensure clear path for S15 reporting for the next years by working closely with Group R2R. VOIS IO, local Digital Finance and IT . Directly reporting up to key senior stakeholders within the business to guide and advise them.
• Management of Half and Full Year Certification and Audit deliverables to support statutory accounts submission.
• Leads the planning, execution and optimisation of MEC process and milestones
• Work together with Group on reaching the stretch MEC deadlines for next 3 years
• SPOC for Vodafone UK for all MEC local and Group stakeholders
• Implement AFC platform as per Group roll-out plan
• Collaboration across the Global FinOps vertical through Communities of Practice to deliver best in class results
• Create a culture of proactive continuous improvement of MEC processes, systems

Who are we looking for?

• Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA finance professional
• Experience in management accounting, preferably cost accounting and IFRS 15
• Comfortable operating at speed with multiple priorities and short deadlines
• Strong cooperation, coordination, communication and presentation skills
• Able to prioritise, multi-task and be comfortable with a changing environment
