Job Description

The Details

  • Establish a change road map, informed by an evaluation of existing processes and an in-depth understanding of the capabilities of our current and future systems and tooling; identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of processes across finance.
  • On an ongoing basis, work with the tech teams, FP&A and the wider finance organisation to identify and deliver quick wins that enhance or refine our existing processes and unlock capacity for more extensive change programmes
  • Work with Tech teams and external providers to implement the new FP&A planning solutions, ensuring we deliver value for the organisation within the first 12 months.
  • Act as SME in our key financial reporting and forecasting systems, driving increased proficiency and utilisation across the wider function - develop excitement and engagement over process change.
  • Line management of the finance analyst and financial modelling roles; ensuring they have a great onboarding process and support their ongoing development to drive a high-performing team.

Qualifications

About You

  • Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with exposure to a range of finance disciplines.
  • A strong people leader with an understanding of situational leadership approaches and a proven ability to build and maintain a high-performing team with high levels of engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively build productive relationships across finance teams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including writing VBA scripts and using other automations to improve the efficiency of routine tasks.
  • Experience using a range of forecasting and planning solutions, including TM1, Vena, OneStream and Workday; ideally with experience implementing new solutions.
  • Experience leading change and transformation programmes, with a demonstrable ability to maintain effective control of the change programme and ensure end-users and stakeholders are well informed and supported.
  • Experience using a range of reporting solutions, including PowerBI and SQL.
