The role...
The ITV Studios division has recently created a new and exciting London based opportunity for a Finance Manager, set to join the finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will support in all aspects of financial process, reporting, controls and production finance for two ITV Studios scripted labels.
You will manage the monthly reporting process for both labels. Working within deadlines to provide a full management accounting service including delivering the month end close and consolidation of group accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
You will work closely with the Head of Finance to deliver the annual budget and regular forecasting as required by ITV Studios FP&A and label management teams. You will provide finance support for production as needed and manage all transactional finance activities such as payroll, payments and invoicing. You will assist with company governance and audits and deliver business reporting and analysis which support the Company's goals and ambitions
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities may include:
• Control monthly management accounts processes
• Support Head of Finance in delivery of all monthly reporting to ITV Studios FP&A team and ITV Group finance
• Prepare monthly consolidated P&Ls and balance sheets
• Balance sheet reconciliations and supplementary analysis as required
• Preparing and posting month end journals for multiple entities (including production postings, accruals, prepayments, revenue/WIP recognition etc)
• Raising of invoices and cash collection
• Point of contact for all payment and other related queries
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns for submission to ITV Group
• Ensure compliance with ITV policies
• Support Head of Finance with all statutory accounts and audit processes for all entities including HETV including working with Saffreys on HETV tax credit process
• Assist Head of Finance with set up of production HETVs, bank accounts, VAT registrations and any other tasks required for new productions
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)...
• Qualified accountant (we would consider part qualified with relevant experience)
• A number of years proven and strong management accounting experience ideally within scripted production
• Proven track record working with varied finance systems and processes
• Good understanding of production accounting and HETV production finance

• Proven track record of working within a team to drive improved financial reporting and processes.
• Expert in Excel/Googlesheets modelling
• Good organisational skills
