Job Description
As Finance Manager Revenue FP&A Europe & North Africa, you will play an integral role in forecasting, reporting, and driving insights for room revenue across the region. Partnering with key stakeholders, you will work both autonomously and in collaboration with the Vice President FP&A Europe & North Africa to:
- Execute monthly financial processes to include, but not limited to:
- The monthly coordination with Accounting team to ensure consistent accruals and coding.
- Monthly RevPAR and fee generation reporting.
- Subject matter expertise inclusive of expert tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and SQL.
- Delivering regular analysis to highlight the impact of portfolio changes, along with impacts of commercial terms agreed with hotels.
2. Forecasting and budget process:
- Coordinate with the BI team to source samestore RevPAR expectations with Development and Design and Technical Services teams to better understand net unit growth.
- Use your expertise to partner with Operations and ensure forecast/ budget reflect their expectations.
- Continuously seek to improve forecasting accuracy to the business.
Qualifications
- Finance degree (financial and accounting analytical skills)
- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint knowledge
- Power BI, Tableau and SQL all highly desirable
- Strong cross country, cross cultural collaborator with impeccable communication skills
- Previous experience of working in a matrixed, hierarchical, global company highly desirable
- Additional languages such as French and/or German is a bonus
