Job Description

About the Role

This role is responsible for forecasting, analysing, and reporting on returns, our average selling price and our average basket value. You will work closely with the senior global commerce director and her team, as well as the buying and merchandising teams to review performance of these metrics and drive forward business understanding. You will also be responsible for the development of a team of 3 analysts.

What You'll be Doing

  • Managing and developing a team of 3, including 2 senior finance analysts and an analyst
  • Responsible for forecasting return rates and monitoring any risks or opportunity against the forecast
  • Updating senior management on return rate performance
  • Analysis on the drivers of our returns rates to improve business understanding and identify any potential opportunities to reduce the rates
  • Tracking and challenging the business on any return rate initiatives
  • Working closely with the product and global trade teams to review return rates by product and by country
  • Responsible for forecasting average selling price and average basket value and therefore units by warehouse and orders by country
  • Working closing with supply chain finance and global planning teams to communicate and explain any variances to forecast for units and orders
  • Providing financial support for a number of business led projects and initiatives
  • Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies

Qualifications

Who We'd Like to Meet

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Strong communication and the capability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and line management skills
  • Financial modelling and use of financial and reporting systems (MS Excel, SQL Server, Microstrategy, TM1, Dynamics all preferred)
  • Excellent presentational skills (MS PowerPoint) and confident presenting to senior management
