Job Introduction

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team and take ownership of our Sweden and Denmark entities.

Reporting to the European Financial Controller, this role is ideal for someone with solid management accounting experience who thrives in an international environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Pre monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for Sweden and Denmark
• Lead annual statutory filings and coordinate local audits
• Oversee tax computations and ensure timely submissions
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and general ledger consolidation
• Handle accruals, prepayments, salaries, bonuses, commissions, and discounts
• Oversee payroll, mileage reconciliations, and related deductions
• Manage accounts payable: invoice coding/processing, approvals, weekly payment runs, and intercompany transfers
• Deliver weekly cash flow forecasts, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews
• File VAT returns and Intrastat declarations
• Work to tight reporting timescales

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• 3+ years' experience in management accounting (Nordic market exposure essential)
• Strong technical skills with Business Central (BC) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
• Fluent in a Nordic language as well as English (Swedish or Danish preferred)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financials to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• System migration experience preferred
