Overview

The Finance Manager is an exciting opportunity to join Publicis Groupe UK Finance team on a 6 month contract basis. As a Finance Manager, focusing on WIP you will partner with the wider Finance and agency teams to ensure the effective management of the WIP accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and investigate aged WIP balances, work with relevant teams to clear balances from WIP, managing the reconciliation process and escalate issues as they arise.
• Preparing and processing journals required to reconcile WIP jobs.
• Working with the team to initiate required intercompany billing from WIP jobs.
• Implement and document a monthly reconciliation process for the Controllership team to adopt.
• Develop reports to be used to analyse movements in WIP and provide information to management regarding WIP movement and ageing.
• Implement a process and workpapers to ensure compliance with internal and external controls.
• Review and update job details in SAP, ensuring jobs are correctly allocated to the relevant teams.
• Manage the job lifecycle in SAP including job reconciliations and job closures in the system.
• Ad hoc analyses as required.

Essential Experience :

• Media or advertising an advantage
• Experience in working for a large complex organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and inquisitive
