We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Rygor finance team with particular responsibility for our Coolfreeze business. Coolfreeze is a longstanding coachbuilder manufacturing and fitting refrigerated bodies for vans and trucks. Majority owned by Rygor since 2024 it is growing rapidly to serve Rygor customers and is a key part of Rygor's growth strategy. It operates from 2 sites in Manchester and Atworth.

Coolfreeze has reached the point where it needs a dedicated finance manager assisting on other business units where time allows.

The role will be embedded within the Rygor Finance team based in Westbury but will work closely with Coolfreeze commercial staff and must be able to travel to Manchester/Atworth on occasion at fairly short notice if required.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Overall responsibility for financial management and accounting of the Coolfreeze Subsidiary.
  • Overseeing all finance systems and processes.
  • Responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasting
  • Supported by transaction function
  • Support the Treasury function with cash forecasts.
  • Oversee accounts payable and ensure suppliers are being well managed.
  • Responsible for preparation of the month end management accounts.
  • Improving and documenting current processes.
  • Manging Stock funding.
  • Monitoring debtors and ensuring payments are collected on time
  • Finance system change from Sage to Keyloop

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

  • A manufacturing experience
  • Practice background, second/third move in industry
  • Commercially minded with good understanding of accounting principles
  • Comfortable creating financial processes and working with non-financial staff
