Responsibilities

Accounting

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple UK entities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and reconciliations.
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Oversee VAT, corporate tax, and other compliance filings.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned entities.

Directorship & Governance

• Act as individual director for a portfolio of UK companies.
• Ensure compliance with UK Companies Act requirements and good corporate governance practices.
• Demonstrate management and control for UK tax residency purposes.
• Identify key risks within the portfolio and implement mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with BD, compliance and the rest of the teams to support corporate objectives

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
• Relevant professional accounting qualification
• 3 years+ post qualification experience in a finance role
• An excellent working knowledge and understanding of Regulatory and Fund governance requirements
• Demonstrative understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role
• Proactive approach with a "can do" attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• Ability to manage change and embrace technology solutions
