Responsibilities
Accounting
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple UK entities.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and reconciliations.
- Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee VAT, corporate tax, and other compliance filings.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned entities.
Directorship & Governance
- Act as individual director for a portfolio of UK companies.
- Ensure compliance with UK Companies Act requirements and good corporate governance practices.
- Demonstrate management and control for UK tax residency purposes.
- Identify key risks within the portfolio and implement mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with BD, compliance and the rest of the teams to support corporate objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting
- Relevant professional accounting qualification
- 3 years+ post qualification experience in a finance role
- An excellent working knowledge and understanding of Regulatory and Fund governance requirements
- Demonstrative understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role
- Proactive approach with a "can do" attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to manage change and embrace technology solutions
