What we are looking for

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support the completion of month end closure and management reporting, including:
  1. Prepayments, Accruals, Depreciation and Balance sheet reconciliations
  2. Cash flow forecasts
  3. Preparation of the Management Accounts Pack for internal stakeholders

• Quarterly reporting, including:
  1. VAT submissions
  2. Revenue by client and category, and overhead reforecasting
  3. Trust Assembly and other periodic Trust updates
• Discuss overheads with cost centre owners and capture future expenditure plans
• Reconcile credit card expenditure and ensure claims are submitted by holders
• Oversee the work of the Finance Assistant to ensure we have robust Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
• Support our internal reporting of client profitability by project to encourage margin improvement
• Support creation of the annual budget
• Manage the end-to-end audit process and be a key point of contact with external auditors
• Assist with ongoing evaluation of financial controls and risks to optimise resilience of the business
• Support the Financial Controller to execute and report against the long-term business plan
• Prepare and interpret data to support and improve decisions
• Other Ad hoc tasks as briefed by Financial Controller
