Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Financial Control team (5 reports) to include
- Lead the production of consolidated management accounts & reporting for all Group companies to meet internal deadlines.
- Manage & develop Business Central accounting system, to ensure Financial Control team are maximising functionality.
- Provide technical accounting expertise and ensure the Group financial control environment is robust.
- Assist GFC with preparation of statutory accounts & management of annual audit cycle.
- Assist GFC liaising with external tax consultants & HMRC compliance
- External reporting to Ofgem, Ofwat, credit rating agency and ONS.
- Provide support to GFC as required.
Person Specification
- Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, practice trained.
- At least 2/3 years PQE experience.
- Technically strong (IT, excel & financial accounting)
- Self- starter able to problem solve and apply initiative.
- Able to manage multiple work streams concurrently.
- Confident communicator, used to interacting at all levels within the business.
