Finance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join our Finance team managing the day to day running of a busy Finance office, providing support across 5 schools.

This is a pivotal role operating within a medium-sized Finance team, reporting into a Finance Director, and is responsible for the day to day management of 3 members of staff: Senior Fees Officer, Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger and a Finance Assistant.

You will be responsible for the financial reporting of commercial aspects of the school, along with credit control, VAT returns, cash flow monitoring and reporting, assistance with external auditing, financial analysis, budgets etc.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player, with excellent IT skills (including MS Excel and Finance tools) and a good eye for detail.

To be considered, you must possess a minimum of Level 4 AAT. Previous finance experience is essential as is experience in managing staff. Experience within an education setting is not essential but would be advantageous.

Whilst this is an onsite role, there is the opportunity for some hybrid working post probation period, during non-term time.
