About The Role
Hello!..we are Eploy, a fast-growing SaaS company and we are looking for recruit a Business Analyst to join our growing team.
Our software manages the in-house recruitment processes of companies ranging from 250 employees to well over 100,000. We also provide solutions for the public sector, university and recruitment agency markets.
Role Requirements:
You'll be responsible for collecting data and process information, detailing future product features and processes, and spotting improvement opportunities in both software and processes.
You'll lead projects, report to the product owner, and coordinate with other teams to make things happen. You'll also act as the product owner for specific features in the Scrum process.
You're a natural problem solver, always looking for better ways to solve customer problems and remove delivery blockers.
You'll run discovery processes, find product improvement opportunities, highlight issues, and create solutions that deliver value to the customer. You thrive on data, analytics, research, and creating solutions based on these measurements. You'll measure feedback on delivered features and use that to iterate solutions using the Scrum process.
You'll document requirements, write user stories, and break them down into manageable Jira tickets. You'll create acceptance criteria for each ticket and work with the QA team to measure success. You'll own these Jira tickets through the Scrum process and sprint review.
You must have proven track record in delivering above requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Scrum team as a product owner when needed.
- Liaise with internal and external partners.
- Prepare and review test procedures and reports with QA.
- Manage the strategic roadmap with the overall product owner.
- Document and manage processes to support development and other internal customers.
- Document user acceptance testing.
- Create reports, data queries, and dashboards to support development and internal customer needs.
- Integrate research, team ideas, and client feedback into solution requirements.
- Maintain high-quality project and software design documentation and analysis.
- Log completed and ongoing system changes if needed.
- Identify possible scenarios and document them for internal discussion.
- Create a project schedule and milestone plan and manage them through the Scrum process.
- Analyse and document root causes of issues and develop appropriate resolutions, working with developers and architects to deliver.
- Use feedback to improve work and build on previous learnings.
- Write user stories and assist in breaking them down.
- Be a problem solver who pays strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and consulting experience
- Have certification in necessary programs like Agile, SQL, MS Excel, and Scrum.
- Be fluent in statistics and able to conduct business process and software analysis.
Our offices are based on the outskirts of Kidderminster and easily commutable from Birmingham, Worcester, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge and the surrounding area... and we have loads of parking space too!
