We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Finance Director.

22.5 hours per week, Full Year

Salary: Range 41-43 of the NJC pay framework for Support Staff, GBP 56,920 - GBP 59,432 per annum (reduced to GBP 34,152 - GBP 35,659 per annum pro rata) to reflect the reduced working nature of this role.
Standard practice is to appoint at bottom of scale.

Role Overview

The Finance Director is a strategically important position within the College. Despite the increasingly challenging financial climate that sixth form colleges operate within, HNC remains financially 'outstanding'. Our ambition is to remain financially strong so that we can continue to deliver our curriculum intent. As the strategic lead for the College's finances, the successful candidate will have the knowledge, experience, qualifications and business acumen required for the role. Equally important will be their ability to deliver complex financial information to a broad range of audiences in an accessible, intelligible, meaningful way. We are seeking to appoint a colleague who shares our belief that the College's finances are the basis for delivering the HNC experience. The role will appeal to candidate's who thrive on working in a fast-paced environment, who hold themselves to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, who take responsibility for their professional development by being coachable, and who have the courage to make complicated and difficult decisions based on our shared purpose. The Assessment Centre date for this post is 13th & 14th November 2024.
