Our platform is 100% cloud-native, and users can access it anywhere, anytime, and on any device. We configure all modules within the Cloud and deliver remote updates quickly and easily; users can access AeroCloud's software via a web interface, removing the need to access a local network. Airports can depend on our cloud-hosted platform's security, fast processing speeds and scalability.

Requirements

Summary of Role

Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Director heads up the Finance team including Commercial Accountant and Procurement Manager. The Finance Director will continue to focus on financial business operations and generalist accounting, while also be responsible for corporate finance (fundraising, investor relations, M&A, corporate development), FP&A (financial modelling, finance, accounting, forecasting / budgeting, cash management. This role is of critical importance to the success of AeroCloud, having significant influence and impact across the business as AeroCloud pursues its ambitions in market share ARR growth and potential funding rounds

Ownership and Impact

• Investor Relations: serve as the primary finance contact for investors, engaging regularly with investors to provide updates on the company's performance, financial results, and strategic initiatives. Prepare and distribute financial reports, presentations, and other materials for investor meetings or board meetings.

• Financial Reporting: ultimate ownership for financial and management reporting activities, including to the board and investors, and compliance reporting across various jurisdictions.

• Financial Modelling: working closely with the internal stakeholders and business partners to develop advanced financial models including projected financial performance scenarios. Working closely with the Global VP People & Talent to develop and plan headcount growth and costings.

• Equity and Share Option Scheme: ownership for managing the AeroCloud cap table and equity, including the employee share option plans.

• Financial Governance: The Finance Director will be accountability for AeroCloud's financial governance.
Strategy: taking ownership for Financial Strategy at AeroCloud while working in partnership with the CEO to make real time decisions about the business. Including managing potential venture debt, taking the lead on potential M&A activity and supporting the CEO on fundraising and corporate development.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a super smart finance professional who loves to be part of a scaling journey, someone who thrives on solving problems and finding solutions to complex financial scenarios. We are an early, fast-growing team and this person will need to seamlessly shift from managing others, collaborating with partners, and doing work themselves. The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience in investor relations, finance, banking, VC or PE, or related fields, preferably within the technology sectors.
• Experience in a financial leadership role within an early stage software company.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis, with experience developing and maintaining complex financial models.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred
