The role..

A Finance Business Partner for Global Partnerships is responsible for providing strategic commercial support to the corresponding business teams.

The Business Partner drives performance of their respective business areas through strong commercial relationships with their key stakeholders, delivering clear, actionable insight and guidance underpinned by a clear understanding of the key drivers of their business area.

Some of your key day to day responsibilities will include:

• Key member of the Global Partnerships finance leadership team

• Supporting the development and implementation of Global Partnership's strategy.

• Demonstrate and promote strong collaboration across the GP finance team to ensure knowledge sharing, process improvement and best practice, alignment and delivery of team strategy

• Enable strategic priorities and deliver profitable and sustainable growth.

• Develop deep and trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, embedding as a key member of the management team.

• Monitor and provide insight into macroeconomic and industry trends, considering potential short, medium and long term impacts on business plans.

• Review, challenge and prioritise investment cases and strategic initiative, ensuring benefits commitments are delivered.

• Drive performance through high quality analysis and decision support, seeking new opportunities to unlock and deliver value.

• Strategic cost management, understanding and influencing key cost drivers, optimising value from the cost base.

• Develop function plans, budgets and forecasts, exploring scenarios and options for driving improved outcomes / performance.

• Predict future outcomes and identify opportunities and threats.

• Support the Finance Director of Global Partnerships to deliver the business area's financial outcomes and performance KPIs.

• Support delivery and development of systems projects, both finance and business facing.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

• Strong commercial Finance Business Partnering experience in dynamic global organisations.

• Experience of operating in a matrix structure

• Ideally a qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), but would consider applications from an individual qualified by relevant industry experience to deliver the responsibilities outlined above

Other things we're looking for (key criteria)

• Experience partnering a function focused on growth driving as well as cost management.

• Experience working in the Media industry preferred.

• Ability to influence decision-making among senior stakeholders, providing appropriate challenges.

• A confident team player who is able to build relationships with differing levels of seniority

• Well organised and proactive with strong attention to detail

• Embraces ambiguity and proactively works with others harnessing diversity of thought to quickly determine how to deliver desirable outcomes.

• Have a digital focus and results driven approach

• The ability to translate strategic priorities to the team in a clear and concise way

• Have a keenness and active approach to understand what the other business area's do within ITV and their priorities, creating more cohesive thinking across the business

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
