Service Manager for Care Leaving Service.

You will lead your teams to deliver a service where children and young people feel safe, are consulted about their concerns, are listened to and responded to with appropriate actions.

Developing critical partnerships across the Council and with key partners, e.g. health, schools and the police, to deliver seamless services across boundaries taking a whole system approach is key to this job.

Reporting to the Head of Service, you will be responsible for oversight and management of Team Managers, Social Workers, Personal Advisors and an education advisor.

This exciting opportunity will benefit from the leadership of a creative thinker who is able to work with partners to deliver services to care leavers and co-produce access to services for young adults needing support.

You will have a strong understanding of what best practice looks like and be passionate about inspiring and improving children's lives, as well as the continuous professional development of practitioners. We are pioneering a Restorative Practice approach to our work which involves innovation and locality working with high quality relationships at the heart of our approach. A creative and flexible approach to work and the drive and motivation to improve our services are key.

You will need to hold a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England and be committed to working with children and young people.
