Salary: £59,925 - £69,165 per annum (Pro-rata for part time)

12 Months Fixed Term Contract

37 Hours per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Adult Social Care. We are looking for a Service Manager to support the Principal Social Worker in leading the delivery and development of high-quality social work strength based practice across the Community Led Support Teams and Practice Development Team. As part of this role, you will manage the Community Led Support Managers and Practice Development Managers. You will be expected to provide specialist and expert advice, coaching and challenge in the management of complex casework to frontline practitioners and managers and take a lead on embedding ASC Quality Assurance Framework into frontline practice.

Requirements of the role:

  • relevant professional social work qualification, with in-depth and expert knowledge in specialist area of social care, health, and wellbeing
  • substantial experience of post qualifying social work
  • in-depth expertise in the regulations/legislation and practice standards within adult social care and an awareness of broader developments within social care, health, and wellbeing.
  • experience of supervising staff and managing performance and budgets
