Role Overview:
As a Field Operations Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting our field delivery team to ensure efficient service delivery, network maintenance, and customer satisfaction. You will play a vital role in coordinating field activities, optimising operational processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day project delivery, street works, and installation support
- Deliver high-quality service while ensuring performance standards and contractual KPIs are met
- Identify and assess risks to project delivery at the earliest opportunity from a support perspective
- Ensure all permits are accurate and comply with current regulations
- Manage and work to reduce failed installations
- Ensure all direct reports have clear performance objectives and regular one-on-one meetings
- Conduct regular audits to maintain the highest service standards
- Oversee the installation back-office process, ensuring all systems are up to date
- Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in field operations, preferably within the telecommunications or internet service provider industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to understand, manage, and deliver KPIs
- Proficiency in effectively supporting project delivery
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Innovative, creative, and proactive with a solution-oriented approach
- Experience in change management and process improvement
- Understanding of NRSWA, Chapter 8, and other relevant legislation and regulations
- Flexible approach with the ability to drive change
